Question:Is this bed and drawers made of real wood and is it strudy enough for an adult???

Answer:Yes it’s real wood and I’m 168 pound adult and have no problem sleeping in the bed. If you’re taller than 6 feet you will be too tall. The drawers are solid and sturdy also real wood. Really easy to assemble

Question:How thick of a mattress would you recommend?

Answer:9-10 inch.

Question:How do we find the directions in either of the boxes?

Answer:The directions were in both boxes. Cut them open so the boxes can lay flat (so not just the ends) and the directions were in the middle on top.
