Question:Would having 2 of these in a larger 700 sq ft. Be more effective than a larger model rated for that size?

Answer:I've been doing extensive research online for an air purifier. I've heard, more than once, that any unit with 250 cfm's is adequate for a 300 sq ft space (assuming it has true HEPA filters). Any larger of a space, you should get multiple units vs. 1 unit with greater cfm's. Theoretically, you could have 500 cfm's out of 2 inexpensive units vs. paying double or triple for 1 high cfm unit that still may not be adequate.

Question:The core 400 works with mold too?

Answer:Yes, the grade H13 True HEPA filter will help filter 99.97% of airborne particles, including mold spores, as small as 0.3 microns.

Question:what type of filters are used?

Answer:The filter includes pre-filter, carbon filter and HEPA filter. 

Question:How does this do with wildfire smoke?

Answer:This air purifier's true HEPA filter and activated carbon filter will definitely help filter smoke particles from the air. 

Question:Will it ever turn off with Auto Mode and turn back on when air decreases? Or does it just stay on with a low setting?

Answer:Hmm, I think it stays in the low setting but very low - I don't see any/much air flowing out in auto mode when the air quality is below the threshold
