Customer questions & answers

Question: What will I need to take down my pool?
Answer: Hello! If you live in an area where the temperature drops below freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit), you'll need to drain, disassemble and store your pool. Lark pools include a drain cap and valve near the base of the pool to enable easy drainage when the time comes.
For this process, we recommend using a standard 5/8" garden hose to attach to the valve to help remove water to the location you desire, away from any nearby buildings or structures. If you'll be folding and storing your pool liner, we also recommend sprinkling some talcum powder on it to prevent the vinyl from sticking together and absorbing any residual moisture.

Question: How is the filter powered?
Answer: Hello! The filter pump is powered by cord through a standard 110-120V US outlet. It is also equipped with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) for safety.

Question: Is their a vacuuming System available that will work with the filter provided?
Answer: Yes, this vacuum is what we would recommend.

Question: Can you leave the pool up all year round?
Answer: Hello! The length of time throughout the year will vary depending on your location, as well as clean water maintenance. If you live in a warmer climate, it may be possible to enjoy your pool for a longer time period. We do recommend making sure it's drained and disassembled if you live in an area that experiences winter or where temperatures regularly fall below freezing.
To maximize the time that your pool is assembled, it is also important to maintain clean water by regularly using and checking the pH and chlorine levels. Additionally, running the filtration system for at least the recommended 3.5 hours per day for this particular pool, and cleaning and regularly replacing your pump's filter cartridges, will ensure you keep your pool clean, safe and ready for use as long as you'd like.
